Every time an app asks where to open or save a file, Pathjump docks a panel beside the dialog. Your favorite folders, the folders you used recently and the folders open in File Explorer are one click away, and the dialog jumps straight there.

Pathjump keeps whatever file name you typed and remembers where you last saved in each app. When the dialog closes, the panel goes with it.

What it does

  • Favorites

Pin the folders you use most. The first nine get Ctrl+1 to Ctrl+9 inside any boosted dialog.

  • Recent folders

Folders you actually opened from or saved to, newest first. Cancelled dialogs don't count.

  • Explorer windows

Folders open in File Explorer, including each tab, are listed so you can save right where you were looking.

  • Quick search

Type a few letters, like "clie 2026", to find a folder among favorites, recents, Explorer windows and your own folders. Press Enter to jump.

  • Last folder per app

Save dialogs open where you last saved in that app.

  • Folder switcher

Press Ctrl+Alt+J or click the tray icon to pick a folder from anywhere. In a dialog it jumps there; elsewhere it opens File Explorer.

  • Stays out of the way

The panel never covers the dialog, follows it when it moves, and can collapse to a thin tab. Exclude any app you like.

After the trial: The panel keeps showing your favorites, and they still jump. Recents, search, Explorer windows and last folder per app need a license. Your history stays viewable and exportable.

A license is a one-time purchase for up to 3 of your PCs. It works offline once activated.
