Terms of sale and use

These terms cover the Hedgerow apps for Windows and licenses bought on this website. Hedgerow is published by MVP Holdings LLC (“we”, “us”). By installing an app or buying a license, you agree to them.
Free trial
Each app can be used free for 14 days after you first start it, with every feature turned on. After the trial an app keeps a limited set of features working, described on its help page, until you activate a license.
Your license
- A license is a one-time purchase. It lets you use the app (or, for a bundle, each app it includes) on up to 3 PCs at a time. You can move it between PCs by deactivating it on one and activating it on another.
- Keep your key to yourself. Don’t share it publicly, resell it, or use tools to get around the license check.
- The apps stay ours. You may not copy, sell or redistribute them, or reverse engineer them except where the law allows it regardless of these terms.
- Open-source components inside the apps are covered by their own licenses, listed under About in each app.
Updates
A license includes updates released within one year of purchase. The last version you were entitled to keeps working after that period.
Payment and refunds
Payments on this website are processed by Stripe. Prices and any taxes are shown at checkout before you pay. If something isn’t right with a purchase, email support@hedgerowapps.com. When a purchase is refunded or a payment is disputed, its license key is deactivated.
Purchases in the Microsoft Store are made with Microsoft and follow Microsoft’s terms and refund rules.
Your data
The apps keep your data on your PC. The privacy policy explains the few times they go online and what is sent.
No warranty
We work hard to make the apps reliable, but they are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Keep backups of anything important.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data or profits, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the license concerned. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be waived.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes don’t take away a license you’ve already bought.
