HearloopPick a call app, a browser or a game and record just its sound, while everything else on your PC stays out of the file. Add your microphone too, and save one mixed file, a file per source for editing, or both.
Hearloop uses audio capture built into Windows, so there are no virtual cables or drivers to set up. Recordings are written safely as they go, so a crash or power cut doesn’t lose them.
What it does
Per-app recording
Record a single app and the helper processes it plays sound from, without picking up other apps. Apps playing sound right now are marked Playing.
Three sources
Combine apps, the whole system and microphones in one session. Each source has its own level meter, volume and mute.
Mixed or separate
Save one mixed file, one file per source, or both. Separate files line up exactly, ready for editing.
Four formats
MP3, WAV, M4A or FLAC, with Voice, Music and Lossless quality presets.
Sessions
A session remembers what to record and how to save it. Start from Podcast, App audio only, Mic only or Whole system, then change anything.
Markers and schedules
Press M or a hotkey to mark a moment, saved beside the recording. Schedule a session to start at a set time once, daily or on weekdays.
Crash-safe
Audio is saved to disk every second while you record. If Hearloop or the PC stops suddenly, the recording is recovered the next time it starts.
Auto-stop
Stop by itself after a stretch of silence, warn when disk space runs low, and keep the PC awake while recording.
