Traytidy
A tidy tray, with the rest one click away.
Keep the tray icons you care about next to the clock and tuck the rest into a searchable drawer. Clean mode hides them all while you present.
TraytidyTraytidy lets you choose which tray icons sit next to the clock. The rest go into a drawer that opens from Traytidy's own icon or Ctrl+Alt+T, with names and search. Clicking an icon there passes the click on to the real one.
A dot tells you when a tucked-away icon changes, and Clean mode hides every app icon while you present or stream, then puts the tray back exactly as it was.
What it does
The drawer
A list or grid of your tucked-away icons, with their pictures, names and tooltips. Type to search and press Enter to click.
Real clicks
Left-click, right-click or double-click an icon in the drawer, and Traytidy passes the click on to the app's real tray icon.
Always show, Drawer, Hidden
Choose a place for each icon in Settings › Icons, with a live preview of your taskbar. Choices follow the app through updates and restarts.
Attention dot
When an icon in the drawer changes, such as a new badge or tooltip, a dot appears on Traytidy's icon and the changed icon moves to the top.
Clean mode
Hide every app icon on the taskbar for presenting or streaming, then get the tray back exactly as it was, even after a crash.
New icons
Icons from newly installed apps go to the drawer by default, with an optional notification saying where they went.
Honest about Windows
Traytidy checks that Windows really moved an icon. If it didn't, Traytidy undoes its change and shows you the one switch to flip.
