What it does
Word import
Chapters are found from headings, “Chapter” lines or page breaks. Pressleaf cleans up tabs, extra spaces and blank lines, and tells you what it changed.
Six book styles
Classic, Modern, Literary, Thriller, Romance and Nonfiction, each with its own headings, first-paragraph treatment, ornaments and bundled fonts.
Book structure
Title page, copyright, dedication and contents up front; acknowledgments, about the author and also-by at the back. Rename, reorder, split and merge chapters.
Ebook preview
See each page as it will look on a phone, an e-reader or a tablet, and try larger or smaller text.
Print preview
Facing pages at the real trim size, drawn from the actual print PDF, so what you see is what you get.
Paperback settings
Trim sizes from 5×8 to 6×9 inches, margins and gutter, running heads, page numbers, chapters on right-hand pages, and optional bleed.
Checked exports
The EPUB and the print PDF are checked as they’re written, with a page count and warnings for things like low-resolution pictures.
Smart punctuation
Curly quotes, em dashes and ellipses in the exported book, without changing your manuscript text.
