Jotsend
Jot it down now, send it where it belongs later.
Press a shortcut, type the thought, then send it on with one action: copy, email, save as a file, add to a journal or make a calendar event.
Press Ctrl+Alt+N and a blank page is ready for typing. Write the thought down before it slips away. Everything is saved as you type.
Then send it where it belongs with one action: copy it, start an email, save it as a Markdown file, add it to a journal, make a calendar event, or open it in another app. Build your own actions that do several of these in a row.
What it does
Instant capture
Ctrl+Alt+N opens a blank page from anywhere, ready for typing. Esc hides it, and the note waits in your Inbox.
One-step actions
Copy, Email, Save as file, Append to file, Create calendar event, Search the web, Share, Open in app and Split into drafts.
Your own actions
Chain steps such as "save as {date}-{title}.md to Notes, then archive", using tokens for the title, date, tags and more.
Keyboard first
Ctrl+Enter runs your default action, Ctrl+1 to Ctrl+9 run the others, and Ctrl+K opens a searchable list of every action.
Nothing lost
Every keystroke is saved the moment you type it, so your text is still there after a crash.
Inbox and search
Drafts sit in Inbox, Flagged, Archive and Trash. Search by words, exact phrases or tags.
Light Markdown
Headings, bold, lists, links and checkboxes are highlighted as you type, with spell check, word count and find and replace.
