Gesturely

Do more with a flick of the mouse.

Hold the right mouse button, draw a quick line and let go to go back, close a tab or snap a window. A normal right-click still works.

Hold the right mouse button, draw a quick shape and let go. Left goes back, right goes forward, down then right closes a tab, and down minimizes the window. A trail in your accent color and a small label show what will happen before you let go.

A quick right-click still opens the menu as usual. Give an app its own gestures, keep gestures out of games and remote desktops, and give any action a keyboard shortcut or a touchpad gesture too.

Gesturely never logs or stores your mouse movements, keystrokes or text. Only your settings are saved.

What it does

  • Gestures

Eight directions, two-stroke shapes like down then right, and circles in either direction. Draw with the right, middle or a side button.

  • Lots of actions

Back, forward and tabs, minimize, maximize and snap windows, show the desktop, switch virtual desktops, media keys, any keystroke, a saved bit of text, or open an app, file or web page.

  • Ready-made sets

Start with Back, Forward, Close tab and Minimize, then add sets for browsing, window management and media. Change any of them.

  • Per-app gestures

Give an app its own gestures, like left for Undo in a drawing app. Gestures it doesn't override work as usual.

  • Clicks stay clicks

A quick right-click opens the menu as always. Hold Ctrl, or hold still for a moment, to right-drag as usual.

  • Shortcuts and touchpad

Give any action a keyboard shortcut that works in every app, or link it to a three- or four-finger tap or swipe through Windows' custom touchpad shortcuts.

  • Exclusions

Gestures stay off in games, remote desktops and full-screen games to start with. Turn them off for the app you're in with one click in the tray.
